En 2008 se estrenará Vantage Point, una película que trata sobre las experiencias de ocho personajes tras el asesinato del presidente de los E.E. U.U, mientras da un discurso en la plaza mayor de Salamanca. Sí sí, Salamanca, donde me toca ir a clase todos los días (ahora en verano no claro). He de decir que no creo que la plaza mayor sea la de verdad (¿habrán puesto el medallón de Franco manchado de pintura en la réplica?), porque si se hubiese rodado en Salamanca habría salido en todos los telediarios, ya que en el tráiler se ve la plaza abarrotada. Además en una escena una bomba explota delante del ayuntamiento. Lo que sí parece rodado en Salamanca son los planos aéreos, el resto creo que es rodado en México.
En la película en cuestión actúan Eduardo Noriega, Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid, Sigourney Weaver y Matthew Fox (el médico de perdidos) entre otros.

Y lo de la plaza mayor, pues seguro no estoy que sea de pega porque al alcalde soltándole el suficiente dinero les habría dejado hasta hacer lo de la bomba en el ayuntamiento.
No pinta mal la peli, y el trailer me ha hecho flipar por dos cosas fundamentales:
1 - Una americana pronunciando Salamanca... uau.
2 - Noriega hablando americano... doble uau.
Esperemos a ver que tal.
Además dice Salamanca con todas sus letras, habrá estado practicando meses para decirlo, ya sabes lo concienzudamente que preparan los papeles en Hollywood. En cuanto a Noriega espero que haya hecho lo propio, no me gustaría verle hablar un inglés tipo Raphael cantando Aquarius (y eso que su versión me gusta).
